Cindy Caltagirone has taught Latin at secondary and college levels in both traditional and distance learning settings for 17 years. She is the Chair of the American Classical League Technology Committee, designer of the National Latin Exam Online Practice App, and organizer of three previous ACL sponsored travel programs to Rome Cindy holds a MA in Classical Humanities and a MS in Management of Technology. She studied at Texas Tech University, the University of Dallas Rome Campus and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Don Sprague is an editor at Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers. For 26 years, he served as administrator and taught Latin and Greek in secondary school and then taught humanities and ethics for eleven years at the college level. He holds a BA in classics and a Masters in Pastoral Studies. He studied at the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome and participated in two Vergilian Society tours. He led his first student group to Greece and Italy in 1979. To date he has led 15 student classics tours and 14 adult learner classics tours.
Paul Gwynne (Professor of Medieval and Renaissance Studies, American University of Rome) holds a BA (Hons) in English/ Latin, an MA in English Renaissance poetry, a PhD from the Warburg Institute of the University of London, and a Diploma in Paleografia, Diplomatica e Archivistica from the Vatican. His site visit lectures in Rome showcase the classical tradition and the contribution of Rome to Humanist studies. He has recently starred in the Netflix series, Empire Games.
