Description: From Disney's Hercules to Percy Jackson, Hollywood loves classical mythology.  So do many of our students.   Mythology is the perfect way to get our kids "hooked" on classics.  This session will explore the many examples of mythology in the modern world and activities that can be used in the classroom.

A longtime Texas Latin teacher, Andrea Stehle now resides in North Carolina.   She teaches middle school Latin at St Timothy's Episcopal School in Raleigh.   She has served on the ACL board of governors, as a TSJCL State Chair and on the National Mythology Exam writing committee.   Andrea Stehle is the author of the sci-fi mythology series, the Gods of Arcadia -a future planet ruled by the gods of ancient Greece.
