Recorded on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon EST

Presenters: Stephanie Krause and Wesley Wood

Level: K-12

Track: Outreach and Equity:  addresses topics such as student recruitment, broadening the appeal of classics to a more diverse population, striving for equity in the classroom, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and public relations for your program.

Description: This webinar is aimed at Latin teachers who seek to better understand the concept of neurodiversity and how it impacts their own classroom practices. After a brief introduction, participants will engage in self reflection to identify both strengths and areas of improvement for their own resources and Latin curricula. We hope to show that making simple changes to our classrooms and pedagogy is both possible and necessary in order to recognize our students as unique learners who are capable of success. In addition, attendees will receive accessible resources and current research to supplement further areas of investigation and professional growth.

This webinar is available for $15 for ACL members and $20 for nonmembers.  A package for 3+ webinars for the fall 2022 season is available for $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers.  The access link to all webinars will be emailed to those who have purchased them.  One CEU available for attending 3 live webinars only; please purchase the bundle if CEU is desired.
