2020 ACL Institute Registration Information

Regular Registration: $165.00; $200.00 after May 1.
Undergraduate or Graduate Students: $100.00.

Registration includes attendance at all sessions, workshops, the exhibit area, and all meetings, breaks and receptions.
The Saturday evening banquet may be added when you register.

Walk-on registrations are welcome.  If you would like to pre-pay, contact the ACL Office.


Banquet: $65.00
The Saturday evening banquet will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel, which is adjacent to campus. 
Attendees will register for the banquet along with any guests on the registration page. 


Participants selecting Hotel housing will make their own reservations directly with the hotels.  Both hotels are adjacent to campus.
The Courtyard by Marriott, Charleston Historic District, is at Calhoun Street and Meeting Street. The room rate is $179.00/night, excluding tax, for a king bed, and $189.00/night, excluding tax, for two queen beds. The Francis Marion Hotel is a historic landmark in downtown Charleston at the corner of King St and Calhoun Street. The Saturday night banquet and reception will be in the ballroom of this hotel. The room rate is $249/night, excluding taxes, single or double occupancy. Deadline to make reservations is May 25, 2020.



Single occupancy: $51.00/night
Double occupancy: $44.00/night

On-campus housing will be at Berry Hall, #6 in this campus map. ACL Central will be at the Hollins Science Center, #50 on the map.
Berry Hall is air-conditioned and arranged with all suites, and bathrooms in the suite, as well as a common room and kitchenette.
A linen package will be provided, including a mattress pad, one pillow and pillowcase, one wool blanket, two sheets and two bath towels. Daily housekeeping will not be provided in residence halls.  For single occupancy, there will be one person in a sleeping area, but there may be a suite mate. 
Deadline for on-campus housing reservation is June 3, 2020.

Parking will be available on-campus for $8.00/day.  Passes will be available at registration. 


Meal plan: $95.00

This selection includes Thursday lunch through Sunday breakfast, and is available to all participants, even if they are not staying on campus.
No housing is included.
The Saturday evening banquet is not included.
Deadline for requesting the meal plan is June 3, 2020.


Continuing Education Units are available from Miami University for $20.00.  Select that option when registering.

Transportation options from the airport is available on the Airport website. Options include public transportation, the downtown shuttle, ride shares, taxis and rental cars. Neither hotel offers airport shuttles.

A full refund is available if you cancel in writing before May 15, 2020. After May 15, 2020, no refunds are available.
