Call for Presentations
qui huc veniat, domi est
President Jennie Luongo, the Board of Governors and our hosts from the College of William and Mary’s Department of
Classical Studies warmly invite you to Williamsburg, Virginia, for the 79th Annual American Classical League Institute. A
variety of sessions and all plenaries available live will also be part of a virtual program for those that cannot attend in
person. Along with the varied program offerings, attendees may enjoy what colonial Williamsburg has to offer.
The Program Committee of Dennis Dickerson, Ellen Lee, Amy Rosevear, Lindsay Sears, Shonda Tohm, Nicole Wellington,
and Bryan Whitchurch welcomes proposals appealing to all levels of instruction on a wide variety of topics (listed below).
We welcome proposals for Pre-Institute workshops lasting either three or six hours through Monday, December 15,
2025. Proposals for presentations at the Institute proper, including panels, posters, workshops, round table discussions,
special interest groups and affinity groups are welcome through January 11, 2026.
We hope to see you all next June in Williamsburg!
Sincerely,
Mark Pearsall
Vice President for Programming and Impact
